Terms and Conditions for online French group classes and 1-1 tuitions

 

These terms and conditions are valid as from the 1st September 2023.

 

I reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time, parents will be notified before-hand.

 

Registration: 

● Clients are required to provide: Student's/Parent’s/Guardian’s/ full names, postal address, email, mobile contact numbers. This will allow effective communication.

● Please ensure you notify Cindy at C Français in writing of any changes as quickly as possible.

● You must declare if you do not want yourself/your child to be photographed for marketing use and keep us up to date should this change using the given email address or phone number.

 

Payments and bookings:

● Group classes and 1-1 tuitions are payable in full at the time of booking.

● Each online group session and 1-1 tuition is 1 hour long.

● The first lesson is a trial and requires be paid before the start of the lesson.

● Sessions are then to be paid in four-week or term blocks and requires payment in full before the second lesson.

● Payment for regular tuition is via Stripe on ClassForKids or by bank transfer.

● By booking a regular time slot you agree to pay for and attend all available sessions on your chosen day/time each term.

● Please pay the fees indicated on your tuition invoice by the date stated. If payment is not made by the date stated on your invoice, then you will forfeit your/child’s lesson/s and these will be offered to a student on C Français’s waiting list.

● Late payment of tuition fees will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, and you have made C Français aware of the exceptional circumstance in writing/email.

 

Cancellation Policy:

● Cancelled/missed sessions, including illness, are non-refundable if 24 hours notice has not been given.

● Sessions cancelled by me and not rescheduled will be refunded in full.

Behaviour expectations:

● C Français reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving, or displaying disruptive behaviour.

 

Timekeeping and parental involvement:

● It is the parents/carers responsibility to ensure you/your child logged into the agreed online platform, to start their lesson promptly.

● If you/your child arrives late for the lesson, then the remaining time will be utilised for teaching until the end of your child’s booked session.

● Sessions may not be recorded (audio or video) without written prior consent from myself. 

● C Français takes no personal responsibility for individual exam results but will endeavour to offer my professional advice and opinion regarding likely outcomes.

 

C Français’s resources:

 ● Resources or worksheets either sent by email or a paper copy provided are strictly for use for the student intended and who presently receive tuition from C Français.

● Resources that are created by C Français are the intellectual property of C Français.

● Any other use of/for the resources must be requested in writing or by email and a reason for their use before permission is granted. Permission will only be granted by email from C Français.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

● These terms and conditions are subject to change. Any updates will be communicated to you in advance.

 

Termination:

● We reserve the right to terminate your enrolment in the program for violations of these terms and conditions or for disruptive behaviour that hinders the learning experience of others.

● By enrolling in our online group French tuition classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
